Records Audit Toolkit

Taradata offers a toolkit to assist with the Records Audit and can offer a service to perform the audit. The toolkit comprises;

• A searchable Access Database to store the audit results
• An audit questionnaire
• A 'Help File' explaining how to use the questionnaire

Taradata can also provide an 'Enterprise Information Manager' which uses the results of the Records Audit and provides the tools for;

• Updating and managing the Information Sources Log
• Recording requests for information and the outcomes of these requests
• Assigning requests to appropraite people, so that they can record their response
• Tracking the responses to requests so as to ensure that they are dealt with in a timely fashion
• Associates requests with sources, providing a quick method to establish popularity of information, that can be used to justify the publicationof Information
• A knowledge base associated with the information source    

The system uses MS SQL Server, and a web browser-based user interface so that the system can be integrated with your intranet system. It also implements a user level security mechanism allowing individuals to maintain their own records.
